Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Business Development Officer at our Dubai location. The Senior Business Development Officer will be responsible for new business development activities, utilizing analytical skills to identify opportunities, managing financial aspects of deals, maintaining effective communication with clients, and providing exceptional customer service.

Core Competencies

  1. Lead Generation and Management
    Expertise in prospecting and identifying potential clients in VR, XR, Blockchain, IoT, and emerging tech markets.
    Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for managing leads and tracking client interactions.
    Strong network within industries using Unity, Unreal Engine, Web3 tools, and XR solutions.
  2. Sales and Negotiation
    Exceptional ability to pitch technical solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    Skilled in closing deals by aligning client requirements with innovative tech solutions.
    Experience with strategic pricing and contract negotiation.
  3. Consultation and Requirement Gathering
    Deep understanding of Web3 tools, blockchain platforms, and IoT ecosystems to act as a consultant for clients.
    Knowledge of software development processes, including Agile, Scrum, and DevOps, to translate technical processes into business language.
    Ability to conduct needs assessments and translate business problems into actionable tech solutions.
  4. Proposal Development
    Collaborates with product managers to create detailed, client-friendly proposals that serve as reference documents.
    Skilled in documenting software requirements in simple, non-technical language while maintaining clarity for developers.
    Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Word, Google Docs, or proposal software like PandaDoc.
  5. Technical Knowledge
    In-depth knowledge of:
    Unity Engine and Unreal Engine for VR/AR/XR applications.
    Blockchain technologies (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger) and smart contracts.
    IoT frameworks and devices for industrial and consumer applications.
    Web3 development tools and decentralized platforms.
    Familiarity with programming languages relevant to VR and blockchain (e.g., C#, C++, Solidity, Python).
  6. Product and Solution Design
    Understanding of the end-to-end lifecycle of software solutions from ideation to delivery.
    Collaborates with product managers to align technical feasibility with client expectations.
    Knowledge of UI/UX principles to ensure user-centric product design.
  7. Communication and Presentation
    Strong verbal and written communication skills to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
    Adept at creating and delivering compelling presentations tailored to clients' needs.
    Ability to liaise effectively between technical teams and non-technical clients.
  8. Industry Knowledge
    Staying updated on trends in VR, XR, Web3, Blockchain, and IoT.
    Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in emerging tech sectors.

Educational Background

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
Certifications in Blockchain (e.g., Certified Blockchain Professional), IoT (e.g., IoT Certification from Cisco), or Web3 tools.

Soft Skills

Adaptability to rapidly evolving tech landscapes.
Empathy and active listening to understand and address client pain points.
