Barista (Part-time)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Interact with customers, take orders for drinks and snacks.
2. Plan and present bar menu.
3. Mix ingredients to prepare coffee and other drinks.
4. Mix mocktails and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with standard drink recipes.
5. Serve customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
6. Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea, artisan and specialty beverages.
7. Keep the bar counter and work area neat and clean at all times.
8. Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus, and promotions.
9. Handle and move objects, such as glasses and bottles, using hands and arms.
10. Clean up after customers and clean work area.
11. Wash glassware and utensils after each use.
12. Maintain a clean working area by sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning of glass doors and windows, etc. if required.
13. Perform physical activities such as lifting and stooping.
14. Handle an assigned house bank and follow all cash handling procedures as per standard.
15. Prepare inventory or purchase requisitions as needed to replenish supplies.
16. Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
17. Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
18. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Type: Part-time

Expected hours: 9 per week
