Job Title: Strategic Head of E-Commerce

Location: Dubai, UAE

Salary: AED 35,000 per month

Our client is a dynamic and growing e-commerce business in the UAE, looking for a seasoned professional to lead their strategic direction. This role is ideal for a results-driven leader with a deep understanding of digital commerce, customer experience, and market trends in the GCC region.

The Strategic Head of E-Commerce will be responsible for shaping and driving the overall e-commerce strategy, ensuring business scalability, and delivering revenue growth. This leadership role requires expertise in market analysis, digital marketing, operations, and customer engagement to maintain a competitive edge in the UAE market.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce growth strategy aligned with business objectives.
  2. Identify and capitalise on market opportunities and emerging trends.
  3. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue.
  4. Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, logistics, and technology.
  5. Develop and manage budgets to ensure strong ROI across campaigns, operations, and investments.
  6. Oversee platform development, ensuring a user-friendly, scalable, and secure online experience.
  7. Leverage data analytics and CRM tools to optimise customer experiences and business intelligence.
  8. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, partners, and stakeholders.
  9. Ensure compliance with UAE-specific regulations and e-commerce best practices.
  10. Enhance customer engagement and loyalty through personalised marketing strategies.

Requirements

  1. Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
  2. 10+ years of experience in e-commerce, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  3. Proven track record in scaling e-commerce businesses in competitive markets (GCC experience preferred).
  4. Strong knowledge of digital marketing, supply chain management, and retail trends.
  5. Hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms, analytics tools, and CRM systems.
  6. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and leadership capabilities.
  7. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
