Qualifications

Minimum 7-8 years experienced civil graduate engineer. Chartered Engineering will be an added advantage. Roads and highways project experience in UAE. Previous project experience dealing with Abu Dhabi Municipality, RTA etc.

Project Role

• Take responsibility of a Senior Engineer in our roads & highways division by leading the way.
• Carry out feasibility and optioneering studies.
• Develop and prepare design drawings, reports, design reports, technical and materials specifications.
• Resolve design problems using both manual and computer methods with minimal supervision, as and when needed.
• Assist in obtaining design approval from authorities/agencies.
• Maintain quality control and quality standards in all personal work output, checking computations, designs, drawings, plans, estimates and reports prepared for comprehensiveness, technical accuracy and sound application of engineering principles and standards.
• Support building a small team of Road/Infra engineers and mentor junior team members.

Company Role

• Understand and contribute to the company's Business Plan, Mission Statement, and key challenges.
• Contribute to the development of company procedures by taking an active role in task groups.
• Attend team meetings and play an active role in the development of procedures within your team.
• Review and comment on company procedures using the feedback system.
• Apply policies relating to health & safety, quality and training.

QHSE Responsibilities

• Understand, implement and follow 9E QHSE policies.
• Implement and coordinate QHSE procedures in your workplace.
• Comply with local regulatory authority guidelines and laws pertaining to QHSE.
• Report any QHSE incidents immediately to 9E QHSE Dept. and to legal authorities if required.
• Abide by Client/Contractor QHSE requirements and acquire site induction before mobilizing at sites.
