Position Overview

Responsible for delivering quality assurance practices and processes for training, assessment, compliance, and competence within ETIHAD RAIL INFRASTRUCTURE Training. The Quality Assurance Officer role is to support the Quality Assurance Manager to deliver internal assurance processes that validate workforce competence and drive continuous improvements through best practices and standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Setting and maintaining the highest standards for quality
2. Auditing and inspecting departments against compliance and assurance standards
3. Providing support with external audits
4. Assuring all training and assessment practices and materials
5. Assurance of all Trainers and Assessors
6. Preparation and submission of accurate reports submitted in advance of deadlines
7. Implementing quality improvement measures through Quality Improvement Plans
8. Identify areas for improvement
9. Maintaining the company’s quality procedures, standards, and specifications
10. Undertake Quality Assurance visits to each department and record evidence of performance quality performance
11. Develop action plans and provide realistic targets to make ongoing improvements
12. Developing and updating quality procedures in collaboration with departments
13. Assure all aspects of the ETIHAD RAIL INFRASTRUCTURE competence management system
14. Contribute to the development of ETIHAD RAIL INFRASTRUCTURE practices
15. Compliance with Company policies and procedures
16. Manage the quality of Continuous Professional Development for licensed Trainers and Assessors

Desirable Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Academic Qualifications:

• Recognized qualification in internal quality assurance or internal auditing.

Professional Qualifications:

• College diploma
• IQA Level 4

Experience:

• No less than 5 years proven experience in a quality assurance role
• Competent in modern computer packages and e-learning techniques
• SAP experience preferred

Other Skills:

• Excellent standard of the English language essential
• Previous experience in rail operations and maintenance
• Excellent knowledge of training processes, systems, and challenges
• Arabic language skills desirable
• Full driving licence is essential.
