Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Applications Developer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE, within the Information Technology (IT) & Telecommunication industry. As an Applications Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that meet business requirements and enhance operational efficiency.

1. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand application requirements.
2. Design and develop software applications using programming languages and frameworks.
3. Write clean and efficient code following best practices and industry standards.
4. Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure application functionality and performance.
5. Integrate applications with external systems and APIs.
6. Develop and maintain databases and data storage solutions.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
8. Stay updated with the latest technology trends and industry best practices.
9. Provide technical support and assistance to end-users.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Applications Developer or a similar role in the IT industry.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, .NET, Python).
• Familiarity with database systems and query languages (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server).
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and debugging applications.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience with application support and maintenance.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are a plus.
