At AESG, we are seeking a dynamic and skilled Energy Principal Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of soft and technical skills to effectively engage with clients, manage projects, and deliver impactful energy solutions. You will play a crucial role in energy auditing, management, and modeling, while also representing our company with professionalism and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive energy audits for various clients to identify opportunities for energy savings.
2. Develop and implement energy management strategies tailored to client needs.
3. Monitor and evaluate energy savings initiatives and report findings to stakeholders.
4. Create detailed energy models and perform Excel modeling to assess policies, programs, and projects.
5. Stay updated on renewable energy trends and technologies to advise clients effectively.
6. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
7. Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to clients through presentations and reports.
8. Foster strong client relationships through excellent communication and representational skills.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Energy Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Good to have certifications: CEA, CMVP, CEM, CAP.
3. Proven experience in energy auditing and management (besides building related).
4. Strong understanding of renewable energy systems and technologies.
5. Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successful project delivery.
6. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, research and quantitative/qualitative analysis with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.

Technical Skills:

6. Understanding of renewable energy technologies and market landscape.
