Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst who is proficient in Russian to join our client’s dynamic team. This pivotal role will be instrumental in providing insightful planning and analysis to drive informed business decisions and optimize the financial performance of the company.

Tasks

Financial Planning and Budgeting:

  • Lead the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and maintain dynamic financial models to project revenue, expenses, and profitability.
  • Identify key financial metrics and benchmarks relevant to the FMCG industry.

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results against budgets and forecasts.
  • Prepare and present management reports, including variance analysis, KPIs, and profitability assessments.
  • Highlight risks and opportunities to support decision-making processes.

Business Partnering:

  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, operations, and supply chain teams to assess the financial impact of business initiatives.
  • Provide insights on product pricing, promotions, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify strategies for margin optimization and revenue growth.

Strategic Analysis and Scenario Planning:

  • Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to evaluate the impact of market dynamics, pricing strategies, and operational changes.
  • Support strategic initiatives, such as new product launches, market expansion, and capital investments, with robust financial analysis.

Process Improvement and Systems Optimization:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve financial processes and reporting systems.
  • Work closely with IT or ERP teams to enhance data accuracy and accessibility for reporting purposes.
  • Ensure compliance with financial standards, policies, and internal controls.

Ad-Hoc Projects:

  • Support the leadership team with ad-hoc financial analysis and insights.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to solve complex business problems and capitalize on opportunities.

Profile & Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA is a plus.
  • 3+ years’ experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or a similar role, in the FMCG industry is a MUST.
  • Strong understanding of FMCG financial drivers, including product costing, inventory management, and pricing strategies.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis using advanced Excel techniques.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience in Power Query, Power Pivot, and DAX is a MUST.
  • Excellent Russian communication skills, both oral and written are a MUST.
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
