The Maintenance Planner will be responsible for planning maintenance activities to ensure timely execution of maintenance and to maximize efficiency, effectiveness, and utilization of the maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and schedule all maintenance activities at the site.
Consolidate maintenance activities from various sources to maximize the utilization of downtime.
Plan maintenance activities ensuring all required resources are available to maximize tool time.
Ensure timely resolution of machine problems through corrective maintenance to drive the zero-defect state.
Ensure that preventive maintenance is executed on time.
Support the Maintenance Manager in the implementation of total productive maintenance.
Record all the maintenance activities planned and unplanned in the CMMS to generate maintenance history.
Track maintenance costs with the budget and drive effective cost reduction plans.
Forecast spare parts requirements as per maintenance needs and coordinate with stores and procurement for timely availability.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in engineering.
6-8 years of maintenance experience in the Food & Beverages industry, with 4 years as a maintenance planner.
Detailed understanding and experience of modern maintenance techniques, particularly maintenance management systems, maintenance planning, and scheduling.
Comprehensive knowledge of the manufacturing maintenance process.
Interpersonal and good communication skills in English.
