Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geography, Urban Planning, or a related field (mandatory)
Master's degree in Transportation Engineering and Planning (highly advantageous)
7-12 years of progressive experience in transportation engineering and planning
Membership in a professional institution such as CIHT, ICE, or TPS
Eligibility for chartership/certification/license (e.g., P.E., P.Eng., CEng, Chartered Transport Planner) is preferred
Profound understanding of transport planning and modeling principles
Expertise in industry-standard software including Cube Voyager, PTV Visum, PTV Vissim, SIDRA, Synchro, and HCS
Working knowledge of Abu Dhabi Strategic Transportation Evaluation and Assessment Model (STEAM)
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for large dataset manipulation and analysis
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and GIS packages (e.g., ArcGIS)
Excellent technical writing and presentation skills
Strong project management abilities, including experience in leading small to medium-scale projects
Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to mentor junior team members
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to travel locally within the UAE and regionally to neighboring countries
