RPM Mechanic - Four Points by Sheraton Sheikh Zayed Road

Position Summary:

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for maintenance/technical attention within the RPM – technician program to guest rooms and public areas.
2. Completes the RPM – technician maintenance tasks to the allotted daily quota of guest rooms and the weekly schedule of public areas.
3. Keeps RPM – technician trolley clean, tidy and properly stocked.
4. Initiates orders for supplies for trolley.
5. Maintains records of work completed.
6. Cooperates with and assists other tradesmen as directed.
7. Advises Duty Engineer/ACE concerning major repair/changes required.
8. Learns firefighting and safety precautions and how to operate the firefighting equipment.
9. Works in a safe manner concerning guests, employees, self and equipment as well as property.
10. Ensures that work area is left in safe condition and the proper use and security of RPM – technician equipment and trolley.
11. Responsible for the maintenance of all equipment within the department.
12. Is aware of and implements all relevant aspects of Health and Safety legislation and company procedures relating thereto.
13. Attends any internal and external course that management may deem beneficial for his/her job.
14. Carries out any reasonable request made by management in the undertaking of any duties within the Hotel.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
2. Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
3. Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
4. License or Certification: None.
