Building Information Modeling

Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Building Information Modeling (BIM) Specialist to join our team in Dubai, UAE. As a BIM Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the design and construction process, utilizing advanced digital tools and technologies to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of projects in the Engineering & Architecture industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. BIM Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and implement BIM strategies for various projects. Ensure efficient coordination and integration of BIM models across different disciplines.
2. Model Development: Create, modify, and manage 3D BIM models using industry-standard software such as Autodesk Revit. Incorporate relevant project data, specifications, and design changes into the models.
3. Clash Detection and Resolution: Conduct clash detection analysis to identify conflicts and clashes within the BIM models. Work closely with project teams to resolve issues and provide technical solutions to optimize project outcomes.
4. Documentation and Visualization: Generate accurate and detailed construction drawings, schedules, and reports based on the BIM models. Produce high-quality visualizations and renderings for presentations and client communication.
5. BIM Standards and Implementation: Develop and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and best practices within the organization. Provide guidance and training to team members to ensure consistent and effective use of BIM technologies.
6. Collaboration and Communication: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients. Foster a culture of teamwork and information sharing.
7. Research and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in BIM technology, standards, and industry practices. Explore innovative approaches to enhance BIM workflows and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Proven experience working as a BIM Specialist or similar role in the Engineering & Architecture industry. Proficiency in BIM software, such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks. Strong knowledge of BIM standards, protocols, and workflows. Familiarity with clash detection and coordination tools. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective communication and collaboration abilities. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Dubai, UAE is preferred.
