Job description
  1. Ensure compliance of brand standards
  2. Recruit, manage, train and develop the Food and Beverage team
  3. Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
  4. Work within budgeted guidelines in relation to Food, Liquor Costs and Payroll
  5. Set departmental targets and objectives, work schedules, budgets, and policies and procedures
  6. Develop menus with other members of the Food and Beverage team
  7. Accountable for monthly stock takes
  8. Incentivise team members to maximize sales and revenue
  9. Carry out annual and mid-year appraisals with Managers under your responsibility
  10. Evaluate guest satisfaction levels with a focus on continuous improvement
  11. Ensure communication meetings are conducted and post-meeting minutes generated
  12. Be environmentally aware
  13. Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
  14. Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation
