Senior Site Architect

§ Performs general architectural works including architectural design, site visits and inspections and prepares related reports.

§ Provides technical design solutions to any problems encountered on site with focus on the construction phases of development.

§ Reviews CAD drawings, renderings, layouts, and construction documents.

§ Conducts and documents on-site observations and reviews.

§ Prepares and reviews as-built drawings.

§ Coordinates work with engineering and construction units at project site.

§ Reviews, approves, and issues detailed design and construction drawings and specifications prepared by others.

§ Provides technical guidance to Architectural staff working on the same project.

§ Requires relevant experience in almost all phases of design to all disciplines, i.e., architecture, structure, and engineering, including substantial and varied experience involving responsible planning and design of complex projects.

§ Demonstrates creativity, foresight, and mature architectural judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented architectural problems, determining program objectives and requirements, organizing programs, and developing standards and guidelines for diverse architectural activities.

§ Flexibility in terms of deployable hours and understanding of the realities of time pressure.

Desired Candidate Profile

§ Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture. Minimum 12 years relevant experience.

§ Previous experience gained with a large consultancy firm in the Gulf region would be highly beneficial.

§ Excellent communication, writing, and computer skills (AutoCAD packages, Revit, Microstation, and MS Office programs).

§ Ability to communicate in English, both verbal and written.
