Your role

As our Product Specialist, you will be delivering expected sales performance and beyond in your territories through transferring a strong value proposition for LEO brands to the stakeholders assigned.

Some of the key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  1. Develop strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including nurses and pharmacists, within relevant hospital/specialist centers.
  2. Utilize a customer relationship management approach to gather insights on customer needs and expectations.
  3. Demonstrate a holistic approach in engaging with customers, providing clinical knowledge and anticipating environmental changes.
  4. Tailor the value proposition of products to healthcare providers to develop and maintain LEO Advocates.
  5. Gather market intelligence on customer needs and environmental challenges.
  6. Collaborate with the Market Access team and MSL to develop action plans for key customers.
  7. Work collaboratively with the field team to address customer needs.
  8. Regularly review and update the customer plan based on sales report analysis and field intelligence.
  9. Identify critical business opportunities and threats and provide input to other functions within LEO.
  10. Aim to exceed agreed sales expectations and implement territory sales plan.
  11. Monitor territory sales performance and take corrective actions if needed.
  12. Introduce newly launched and key products to clients.
  13. Plan work schedule and timetables in accordance with visiting cycle plans.
  14. Perform effective territory management and identify business opportunities based on market and competitor activity.
  15. Develop a Territory Business Plan and request resources for optimal sales impact.
  16. Deliver presentations to doctors, practice staff, nurses, and pharmacists.
  17. Organize conferences for medical staff and maintain positive relationships with them.
  18. Submit Daily Coverage Reports and Monthly reports, commenting on deviations from the Business Plan.
  19. Keep up to date with clinical data and identify areas for self-development.
  20. Attend sales meetings, product training, and company meetings.
  21. Ensure compliance with pharma legislation, LEO policies, and regulations.

Your Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:

  1. B.Sc. in Pharmacy or other health & life sciences.
  2. Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position in the UAE; Immunology experience is desired, Dermatology experience is a plus.
  3. Good understanding of private and tender market challenges and opportunities.
  4. A valid UAE driving license.
  5. Resident in Abu Dhabi or willing to relocate.
