Cost Controller

The Role

Job Description:

1. Develop and maintain cost control systems, track expenditures against budgets and monitor inventory and material usage to prevent shortages or overstocking.
2. Assist in budget preparation, conduct financial analyses to forecast expenditures and implement corrective actions to manage potential cost overruns.
3. Prepare detailed cost reports, analyze cost trends and present financial data in actionable formats for management review.
4. Work with project teams, procurement and finance to ensure cost efficiency, maintain accurate financial records and support compliance with policies and audits.

Requirements

Position Title: Cost Controller
Employment Type: Full Time
Salary: up to 8K AED all-inclusive depending on experience and qualifications

About the Client: A leading UAE firm driving urban development through investments in real estate, hospitality, leisure & retail and transportation.

Qualifications:

1. Male, 45 years old and below
2. Graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
3. Must have proven experience as a Cost Controller, Cost Accountant, or a similar role in industries such as hospitality, retail, construction and real estate is preferred.
4. Strong knowledge in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
