Responsibilities
- Brainstorm ideas and concepts and create conceptual foundations for campaigns and other projects.
- Write clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice, including calendars, presentations, scripts, emails, letters, strategies, and internal communications.
- Pitch ideas confidently and present their creative vision clearly to clients, as well as communicate in the same manner to members of the creative team.
- Manage end-to-end creative process of campaigns from concept stage to completion, across all channels, including proofreading copy to check spelling and grammar.
- Understand the structure of a brand's identity—how the visual and verbal executions come together to create a holistic brand experience.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, including ground-breaking ideas, emerging technologies, and business solutions.
- Provide effective direction through all phases of production—internally and with external partners.
- Collaborate with account managers to obtain knowledge of the clients' requirements and work on creative content for the SM content calendars.
- Collaborate with designers, PR, and other professionals on large- and small-scale marketing projects (e.g., email campaigns and landing pages).
- Consider the scope of the idea, the amount of preparation it needs, the number of pitches to make, the decision-makers to reach, and the expected timeline.
- Understand the clients' KPIs and produce detailed and holistic creative work.
- Develop relationships with clients to ensure service/product and delivery expectations are met in terms of objectives, values, budgets, and deadlines.
- Offer guidance to junior team members to help them adapt to the pace and expectations of NNC.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism, or a relevant field.
- Prior experience as a Copywriter, Senior Copywriter, or a similar role.
- A portfolio of published works.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills.
- 3+ years of creative agency experience.
- Superior strategic thinking and creative skills (written, visual, and conceptual).
- Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and juggle multiple priorities.
- Excellent client service and presentation skills.
- Ability to create small creative texts (e.g., social media posts) as well as large content pieces (e.g., product descriptions).
- Experience with keyword research and content optimization.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- An analytical mind with a keen eye for details.
