Roles and Responsibilities

A Social Media Executive is responsible for managing a company’s or brand's online presence across social media platforms. Their role involves creating and implementing social media strategies, engaging with the audience, and ensuring that the company's brand message is communicated effectively.

Key Skills Required:

  1. Content Creation and Curation
    • Creative Writing: Crafting engaging and effective copy for social media posts, advertisements, and campaigns that resonate with the target audience.
    • Visual Content Creation: Designing graphics, images, videos, and other multimedia content to accompany social media posts, using tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or video editing software.
    • Content Curation: Selecting and sharing relevant third-party content that aligns with the company’s brand and provides value to the audience.
    • Brand Voice Consistency: Maintaining a consistent tone, style, and messaging that reflects the brand’s identity across all social media platforms.
  2. Social Media Strategy
    • Platform Knowledge: Understanding the strengths and nuances of each social media platform (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest) to tailor content and campaigns appropriately.
    • Audience Segmentation: Identifying the target audience for each platform and crafting tailored content that meets their interests and preferences.
    • Campaign Planning: Developing and executing social media campaigns designed to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and meet specific business goals (e.g., lead generation, sales, or traffic).
    • Trendspotting: Keeping up with current social media trends, viral content, and emerging platforms, and incorporating relevant trends into social media strategies.
  3. Community Management
    • Engagement: Actively interacting with followers by responding to comments, messages, and mentions, ensuring that the community feels heard and valued.
    • Customer Support: Addressing customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints on social media in a timely and professional manner.
    • Building Relationships: Cultivating a loyal community by creating engaging, personalized interactions and maintaining consistent communication with followers.
    • Brand Advocacy: Encouraging brand advocacy by engaging with influencers, loyal customers, and brand ambassadors to amplify the brand’s reach.
  4. Analytics and Reporting
    • Social Media Metrics: Using social media analytics tools (such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, or Hootsuite Analytics) to track and measure the performance of social media posts, campaigns, and ads.
    • Data Interpretation: Analyzing data from social media performance reports to understand audience behavior, engagement levels, and content effectiveness, and using these insights to optimize future strategies.
    • KPIs and ROI: Measuring key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement rate, click-through rate, conversion rate, and return on investment (ROI) to determine the success of social media activities.
    • Continuous Improvement: Adjusting strategies based on data insights, ensuring the continuous improvement of social media performance.

Desired Candidate Profile

We are looking for Social Media Executives that share our passion for hospitality and amazing food, to join our Creative team. You will be working with a particular brand to create food-related content to be used across multiple platforms.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • In charge of the brand’s content marketing strategy and the overall management of the process. Champion principles of both storytelling and content organization.
  • Develop a content calendar and lead its execution. Manage the daily vs. campaign content, regular vs. premium content, and ensure its timely & consistent publishing.
  • Manage and guide the production of big-scale production shoots, coordinating and sourcing key people and locations needed for such shoots.
  • Work with the creative team and operations team to provide efficiency in production and a center of content excellence and a deep understanding of innovative and relevant content.
  • Deliver high-quality content from concept to production through effective visual storytelling, working and adapting content in a range of digital formats and social media platforms which may include but are not limited to: Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Snapchat, Twitter.
