IT Support Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused IT Support Engineer to join our team based in Dubai.

The ideal candidate must have 5+ years of experience in IT helpdesk support, providing technical assistance, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Provide technical support to employees’ queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware (L1/L2 Support).
2. Walk end-users through the problem-solving process.
3. Act as an IT Help Desk representative and ensure all queries are efficiently addressed and resolved in due time.
4. Keep the IT Helpdesk system records up to date.
5. Train computer users when and as required.
6. Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software, as well as computer peripherals.
7. Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
8. Maintain asset information for end-user IT equipment.
9. Provide general administration support to the IT function.
10. Provide high quality of customer service.

Key Qualifications:

1. BSc degree in Computer science or equivalent.
2. 5+ years of experience in providing IT Helpdesk support services.
3. Hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues (including MAC OS).
4. Sound technical knowledge of IT systems such as servers, virtualization, Active Directory, Networking, Routing & Telecom systems.
5. Proficient MS Office skills and M365 Certification.
6. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
7. Fluent English; Arabic is an added advantage.
8. Open to travel across business locations (requires a driver’s license/car).
