Business Analyst - ECommerce - UAE

Our 2,500 stores make over 360 million transactions and serve 120 million customers in our cafes and restaurants. At the core of this ever-expanding operation is our head office in Kuwait. We source experienced candidates to lead best practice across all head office functions including property, HR, corporate communication, corporate marketing, IT, finance and legal departments and are constantly investing in talent and infrastructure to drive our business forward.

We're currently looking for a highly motivated and meticulous Business Analyst who is passionate about new technologies. The Business Analyst needs to work along with the Project Manager in delivery of multi-channel projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Define actual business problems that need to be addressed with business process owners and determine functional alternatives and solutions.
2. Work with business process owners to create realistic business use cases that determine the process that a user will execute when using the new and/or enhanced system and determine business requirements.
3. Work with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, validate and communicate the requirements using appropriate documentation and modeling techniques.
4. Collaborate with the Project Manager and Business Stakeholder to plan the Business analysis activities.
5. Collect and validate the non-functional requirements that include performance implementation design, usability, security, audit & appropriate legislative requirements.
6. Support the business during warranty and ensure that any defects or enhancement requests are well defined and prioritized appropriately.
7. Work with Business Stakeholders, vendors and IT to build design based on requirements.
8. Hold design review sessions with cross-functional team members (Business Stakeholders, IT, operations and vendors) to review requirements.
9. Require sign off of functional specification(s) from all cross functional project team members.
10. Monitor all issues.

You will have/be:

1. Bachelor's Degree
2. 4 plus years experience as Business Analyst, specifically in E-Commerce/Retail.
3. Ability to work at a detailed level while maintaining an overall project perspective.
4. Proficient use of Visio Process Mapping software and MS Project.
5. Ability to effectively present to a wide range of Stakeholders.
6. Exceptional Time Management & Interpersonal Skills.
