Quantity Surveyor

China State Construction Engineering Corporation Middle East (CSCEC ME) is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to join our Contracts & Commercial Team for a Large Scale Construction Project in Dubai, UAE.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate in contracts & administrations in relation to all contractual matters, including:
2. Preparation of RFPs.
3. Preparing commercial enquiries & tenders.
4. Coordinate with projects & procurement team to align on vendors.
5. Help in tender planning, scheduling, control, and evaluation.
6. Prepare quantity take-offs.
7. Preparation and finalization of contracts as required.
8. Budgeting and cash flow management, including regular updates.
9. Monthly and interim payments certification.
10. Ability to collaborate across the team.
11. Reporting on all commercial aspects at regular intervals.
12. Monitoring monthly cost reports including budgets, certified to date, paid to date, variations approved, variations in process, and anticipated variations.
13. Payment tracking and inventory management & control.
14. Prepare requirements for insurances and bonds, review for acceptance and safe-keeping.
15. Commercial documentation management and control.
16. Management of contracts safe-keeping and renewals for any bonds, insurances, professional indemnity, etc.
17. Claim & change management administration & control.
18. Work closely with commercial teams of employed consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, integrating their work into overall commercial success after validation.
19. Assist Senior Quantity Surveyor in all responsibilities.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
2. 3+ years of relevant work experience in building projects.
