Finance Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support company objectives.
• Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and periodic financial reports.
• Analyze financial performance, identifying trends and variances, and propose actionable insights.

Accounting and Compliance:

• Supervise the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee audits, both internal and external, to ensure robust financial controls.

Cash Flow and Cost Management:

• Monitor and manage cash flow to maintain liquidity and operational efficiency.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities across operations and implement measures to enhance profitability.

Taxation and Legal Compliance:

• Ensure accurate and timely filing of all tax returns.
• Stay updated on tax laws and regulations affecting the automotive industry.
• Liaise with legal advisors to address financial compliance matters.

Automotive Industry-Specific Financial Oversight:

• Manage financing and leasing transactions associated with vehicle sales.
• Oversee inventory financing and ensure optimal stock levels.
• Track financial performance of dealership operations and provide insights to optimize revenue.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and procurement departments to align financial strategies with business objectives.
• Provide financial guidance for pricing strategies, vendor negotiations, and customer financing options.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s degree, CPA, or CFA preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial systems, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills required.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence decision-making.
• Familiarity with dealership financial processes, such as F&I (Finance & Insurance), is a plus.
