Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced driver to provide safe and reliable transportation in our delivery & logistics department. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional driving skills, a professional demeanor, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transportation of Goods: Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations.
• Route Planning: Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries.
• Loading and Unloading: Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are handled carefully to avoid damage.
• Documentation: Complete and maintain accurate delivery paperwork, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
• Inventory Management: Assist with inventory checks and maintain records of items delivered and received.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition and reporting any issues.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers during deliveries, addressing any concerns and ensuring a positive experience.
• Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and safety protocols.
• Problem-Solving: Address any delivery issues or delays promptly and efficiently.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of miles driven, fuel consumption, and other relevant metrics.
• Language: Preferred English/Hindi/Urdu.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of local and regional routes, traffic patterns, and significant locations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Flexibility to accommodate changing schedules and travel requirements.

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience with benefits.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED1,500.00 per month

• Valid UAE driving license (Required)
