Infection Controller

We are looking for an Infection Controller to join our healthcare facility. You will play a critical role in preventing and controlling infectious diseases, ensuring a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing infection control policies, conducting regular inspections, and educating staff on proper infection prevention and control measures.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement infection control policies and procedures.
2. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential sources of infection.
3. Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to develop infection control strategies.
4. Monitor and analyze infection control data and trends.
5. Educate healthcare providers, staff, and patients on infection prevention and control measures.
6. Conduct training programs on hand hygiene, personal protective equipment (PPE), and waste management.
7. Investigate and report any outbreaks or unusual infection patterns.
8. Stay updated with the latest research and guidelines on infection prevention and control.
9. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
10. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement infection control measures.

Minimum Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field.
2. Certification in infection control (CIC) is highly desirable.
3. Previous experience in infection control or a healthcare-related role.
4. In-depth knowledge of infectious diseases and prevention strategies.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
