Lifeguard

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain responsibility for cleanliness of swimming pool (vacuuming and scrubbing) and immediate surrounds.
2. Maintain responsibility for cleanliness of garden areas (planters base).
3. Ensure pool cleaning equipment is in good condition, reporting problems to maintenance when needed.
4. Greet and escort guests to lounge chairs and present towels.
5. Provide cooler bags along with water, fruits (apple), and cold face towels.
6. Maintain a comprehensive library of books and magazines in different languages if guests or members request.
7. Maintain current First Aid and CPR qualifications.
8. Recommend food and beverage facilities to guests using the pool area and assist fellow Food and Beverage service team when needed.
9. Maintain detailed knowledge of the hotel’s emergency response procedures, particularly in the event of drowning, cyclones, or storms.
10. Maintain your uniform in a clean and tidy manner, ensuring grooming matches hotel policy.
11. Facilitate swimming activities (Swimming Lesson Class) by the pool area if any guests or members request and inform the trainer.
12. Participate in sports activities when required.
13. Supervise children’s swimming activities during the peak season and maintain a watchful eye on guest safety.
14. Handle basic billing procedures such as miscellaneous charges when selling retail items.
