Responsibilities

1. Create detailed electrical designs for MV and LV switchgear, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
2. Proficiency in SEE and/or E-Plan for drafting and modelling electrical systems, including schematics and layouts.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, mechanical engineers, and consultancies to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met.
4. Prepare and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including specifications, calculations, and reports.
5. Conduct design reviews and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards throughout the design process.
6. Provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases, addressing any design-related issues that may arise.
7. Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends in switchgear design, particularly in Oil & Gas and utility sectors.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design engineering, specifically in MV and LV switchgear.
3. Industry experience in Oil & Gas and utility projects is a plus.
4. Proficient in SEE and/or E-Plan is a must.
5. English written and speaking skills are a must.
6. High communication skills, with the ability to handle complex technical issues.
