Omani Talent Recruiter (Independent Contractor)

We are excited to announce an opportunity for an entrepreneurial individual to be our dedicated Omani Talent Recruiter (Independent Contractor), who will play a pivotal role in our ongoing efforts to tap into the rich talent pool within Oman. As the Omani Talent Recruiter, you will be responsible for business development, sourcing, recruiting, and placing qualified candidates for various roles. You will work independently but have the support of the broader Substance team, tools, and systems, leveraging your understanding of the local hiring landscape to provide exceptional talent solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Acquisition: Identify and engage potential clients through various channels.
2. Candidates Sourcing: Identify and engage potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media platforms, and local networking opportunities.
3. Assessment & Screening: Conduct thorough assessments of candidates' qualifications and experience to ensure a high standard of placements.
4. Client Liaison: Collaborate with clients to understand their hiring needs and present suitable candidates quickly and effectively.
5. Market Understanding: Stay updated on the local job market trends, salary benchmarks, and talent availability in Oman.
6. Interview Coordination: Schedule and prepare candidates for interviews with clients, providing guidance throughout the recruitment process.
7. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and clients, ensuring a rewarding experience for both parties.
8. Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Substance team on recruitment progress, challenges, and market insights.

Requirements

1. Experience:
   • Minimum of 2 years of recruitment experience, preferably within Oman.
   • Experience as an agency recruiter, independent recruiter, or working with remote teams is an advantage.
2. Skills:
   • Business development skills and resilience towards rejections.
   • Resourceful and data-driven.
   • Strong sourcing and candidate engagement skills, with the ability to identify top talent.
   • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
   • Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
   • Proficiency in using recruitment software and tools, such as ATS systems.
3. Knowledge:
   • Deep understanding of the Omani recruitment landscape, labor laws, and market dynamics.
   • Familiarity with various industries and job roles prevalent in Oman.
4. Attributes:
   • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong work ethic.
   • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with remote teams.
   • A passion for talent acquisition and helping candidates find their ideal roles.
