Job Responsibilities

1. Inspect, assemble, and disassemble rigging equipment, including slings, hoists, chains, and winches.
2. Safely attach rigging equipment to loads and ensure proper placement for lifting and moving.
3. Communicate effectively with crane operators and other personnel to direct the lifting process.
4. Verify the load’s weight, center of gravity, and lifting capacity to avoid accidents.
5. Follow industry regulations, company policies, and safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
6. Ensure that all rigging tools and equipment are in good condition and properly maintained.
7. Perform regular inspections and report any issues or damage to equipment.
8. Assist in the transportation of loads to designated areas.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Proven experience as a rigger in construction, manufacturing, or similar industry.
2. Strong knowledge of rigging techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
3. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
4. Familiarity with operating cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipment.
5. Excellent physical condition and the ability to lift heavy loads.
6. OSHA certification (or similar safety certifications) is preferred.
7. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
