Job Description:

• Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.
• Developing store strategies to raise customer pool, expand store traffic and optimize profitability.
• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Maintaining outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
• Analyzing and reporting on buying trends, customer needs, profits, etc.
• Completing store administration and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Dealing with all issues that arise from the staff or customer (complaints, grievances, etc.).
• Maintaining store hygiene by reordering/replenishing stock levels.
• Overseeing the daily operations of the store including ordering, merchandising, managing and inventory levels.
• Ensuring that products are stored in a way that maintains their quality and preserves them from spoilage.
• Providing adequate training to employees on store policies, procedures, and sales-related matters.
• Managing all controllable costs with a view to maintaining profitability.
• Ensuring the store remains clean and presentable at all times.
• Seeking ways to better promote the store, the product line, and service within the store.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Degree in any discipline with at least 5 to 8 years of experience in any FMCG Retail Industry.
• Excellent track record in consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets & KPIs.
• Pleasant personality with excellent interpersonal relationship and communication skills.
• Strong business acumen, sales skills, and leadership skills.
• Should be tech-savvy.
• Nationality - South African/Indian preferred.
