Pastry Chef

Job Posting: Pastry Chef, Abu-Dhabi

We are looking for a passionate Pastry Chef to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pastry baking and excellent knowledge of international cuisine. We offer a competitive salary of 1000 per month (negotiable). We are open to considering foreign applicants.

Requirements for the Candidate:

1. Proven experience as a pastry chef in a professional kitchen setting
2. Creative approach to food preparation and presentation
3. Thorough understanding of international cuisine
4. Knowledge of proper food handling procedures
5. Good communication skills
6. Ability to work in fast-paced environments
7. Willingness to learn new techniques and recipes
8. A minimum of 5 years experience as a pastry chef is preferred
9. Culinary training from an accredited institution is preferred

Job Description:

The Pastry Chef will be responsible for preparing high quality pastries to meet customer expectations. Duties include but are not limited to: creating new recipes, planning menus, overseeing food production, training staff, maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards, ordering ingredients, monitoring inventory levels, and attending culinary events. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work independently as well as collaborate with other members of the culinary team.
