Position DescriptionThe Sales Executive will be an integral part of our sales team, responsible for sales to commercial and general aviation, military and government operators and bulk opportunities, while simultaneously pursuing new clients and business opportunities. Sales Executives will be adept at identifying new business prospects, assessing potential opportunities to determine viability and optimal approaches, negotiating contracts, and closing deals. This role is designed for a self-motivated individual with a strong educational background and experience in a sales environment. The ideal candidate will have a knack for managing sales-related tasks, be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, and possess excellent interpersonal skills. This position is 100% on-site and requires someone who can seamlessly interact with both internal team members and external clients to drive our sales initiatives forward.
Job Duties- Execute efficient sales strategies across Africa by developing long term relationships within the aviation market; develop account strategies and action plans to expand current accounts and penetrate new markets within the region.
- Utilize Microsoft Office suite to create and maintain sales documentation, presentations, and reports.
- Manage and update customer information within our CRM system.
- Lead the sales process by coordinating with internal departments and ensuring timely communication with clients.
- Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to stay updated on product offerings and sales techniques.
- Assist in the analysis of sales data to help inform strategic decisions and improve sales performance.
- Maintain a proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential sales issues.
- Attend industry events and trade shows.
Qualifications- A-Level or equivalent educational background required; a higher qualification in a relevant field is preferred.
- Proven experience in a sales environment, showcasing an ability to understand the sales processes.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with an emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of effectively communicating and collaborating with team members and clients alike.
- Highly motivated and self-starting, with a strong desire to succeed and contribute to the sales team’s achievements.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be eligible to work on-site in the UAE and possess a can-do attitude towards sales.
- Ability to extensively travel across Africa as required.
- Proficiency in French will be advantageous.
