Human Resources Support Specialist
Job description
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including documentation, orientation, and system setup.
- Assist with offboarding, ensuring proper exit interviews, final pay processing, and retrieval of company assets.
Recruitment Support:
- Post job openings on job boards and social media platforms.
- Screen resumes and schedule interviews for HR and hiring managers.
- Assist in preparing recruitment materials and job descriptions.
- Manage candidate communication throughout the recruitment process.
Employee Records Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files (both physical and digital).
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements regarding employee documentation.
- Assist in preparing reports for management on employee data, turnover, and other HR metrics.
HR Administration:
- Process employee changes, such as promotions, transfers, and salary adjustments, ensuring all records are updated accurately.
- Handle HR-related inquiries from employees regarding policies, benefits, and other HR processes.
- Assist with time and attendance tracking, including the management of sick leave, vacation requests, and other time-off requests.
Benefits Administration:
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
- Liaise with benefits providers to resolve issues and communicate updates to employees.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure HR policies and practices comply with federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Assist with audits related to employee records, benefits, and payroll.
- Prepare and submit various HR-related reports as requested.
General HR Support:
- Provide general administrative support for the HR team, including scheduling meetings, preparing HR materials, and maintaining HR documentation.
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives and company-wide communication related to HR policies or updates.
