Job Title: Vice President Operations
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement operational strategies and initiatives to optimize business performance and achieve operational excellence.
Oversee and manage all operational activities, including production, supply chain, logistics, quality control, and facilities management.
Lead and guide cross-functional teams to ensure effective coordination and collaboration across departments.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
Identify and implement process improvements and best practices to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and streamline operations.
Develop and manage operational budgets, resource allocation, and capital expenditure plans.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality management systems.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and employee engagement.
Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic plans and initiatives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers, and external partners.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Requirements: A bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field. Proven experience in a senior operations leadership role, preferably in a similar industry or organization. Strong strategic thinking and ability to develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business goals. Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams. In-depth knowledge of operations management principles, best practices, and industry standards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders. Demonstrated experience in managing operational budgets, resource allocation, and performance metrics. Familiarity with process improvement methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma. Proven track record in driving operational efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement. Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and quality management systems. High level of adaptability and ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
