Sales Trainee
Job description
- Assist the sales team in achieving monthly targets by providing administrative support and coordinating sales activities.
- Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person, providing timely and accurate information.
- Prepare and send out quotations to clients, following up on leads to support conversion rates.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient handling of sales, marketing, and event-related tasks.
- Develop and maintain organized filing systems for sales records and reports.
- Prepare function sheets and coordinate pre-conference and post-event activities.
- Conduct regular walkthroughs and site inspections to maintain familiarity with hotel facilities and operational standards.
- Assist in creating and updating sales support materials for the sales team.
- Monitor and report on sales activities, preparing regular reports for management.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, laws, and regulations in all sales-related activities.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Outstanding relationship-building and people skills.
- Good mathematical skills.
- Organizational skills.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills an advantage.
