Job description

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for the full recruitment cycle of INDEX Holding and its subsidiaries. Responsibilities include sourcing candidates through various channels, planning interview and selection procedures, and onboarding.

Essential Functions:

  1. Initiate recruitment upon receiving the recruitment request from the hiring manager.
  2. Determine applicant requirements by studying job descriptions and job qualifications.
  3. Post jobs on relevant job sites/social media platforms.
  4. Source candidate CVs and shortlist the final batch of CVs.
  5. Conduct telephonic interviews to screen and finalize candidates.
  6. Schedule panel interviews with hiring managers.
  7. Conduct interview assessments/evaluations by sharing the forms with the hiring managers.
  8. Conduct required tests based on the job requirements.
  9. Share interview feedback with the candidate.
  10. Perform reference checks/background verification for the selected candidate.
  11. Upon successful reference check, prepare and share the offer letter with the candidate.
  12. Prepare the Employment agreement and share it with the candidate.
  13. Collect all required documents for onboarding and visa processing.
  14. Ensure to save the complete employee documentation file for a smooth HR process.
  15. Provide stationery, Access Cards, and ensure new members receive all the IT assets on the joining day.
  16. Ensure all required training is completed for the new member in the company.
  17. Suggest new ideas for improving talent acquisition activities.
  18. Maintain a database of recruitment agencies.
  19. Determine the best and most suitable job portals for the recruitment requirements of the company.
  20. Liaise with universities/colleges for internship opportunities.
  21. Research talent acquisition trends in the staffing industry.
  22. Maintain job descriptions for all positions of INDEX Holding and its subsidiaries.
  23. Provide salary benchmarks from the industry as and when required.
  24. Manage and maintain the candidate database.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, or a relevant field.
  2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist/Recruiter with hands-on experience in full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
  3. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  4. A keen understanding of the differences between various roles within organizations.
  5. Good interpersonal skills and a positive attitude to dealing with people.
  6. Ability to use own initiative and pay close attention to detail.
  7. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  8. Ability to cope with competing demands, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  9. Capable of working independently and as part of a team; dependable, responsible, and self-motivated.
