About the job
The ideal candidate will be responsible for using their analytical mindset to analyze and interpret financial data, then relating it to potential business trends and issues. This candidate will feel comfortable using insights they have discovered to communicate important themes and discoveries to company leadership.

Responsibilities

  1. Preparing & monitoring the Annual Budgets of the companies
  2. Reviewing various legal & commercial contracts to ensure that they are in line with budgets and payment terms
  3. Preparing financial forecasts and reports for senior management to facilitate informed decision making
  4. Liaising with IT team & Business Heads to implement ERP across various companies
  5. Liaising with external auditors (Partners/Directors) to resolve any queries efficiently & satisfactorily
  6. Monthly MIS Reports preparation for submission to CEO & CFO with analysis of financial performance
  7. Implementing & managing financial policies of the above companies in line with management's vision & applicable laws & IFRS
  8. Preparing, reviewing, and inputting on the financial feasibilities & Business Plans of various projects by liaising with various stakeholders
  9. Reviewing various legal & commercial contracts to ensure that they are beneficial to the company
  10. Liaise with Business Heads to control aspects of revenue, cost, budget, and corporate policies
  11. Interact with the procurement team to ensure that procurement is as per schedule Project
  12. Interact with the Commercial Team to ensure that contracts are awarded cost efficiently (including Value Engineering) and as per schedule to ensure efficient project progress
  13. Interact with the planners to ensure project progresses as per master program
  14. Interact with the QS to ensure that the costs conform to Budget/BOQ with minimum variance & variations
  15. Establish regular communication with Project Managers and Consultants to receive updates on project progress
  16. Prepare de-risking financial model based on Payment Applications, Billing, and collection scenarios
  17. Prepare the projects and the company projected cash flow, balance sheet & income statement in line with IFRS
  18. Consolidation of financials & projects status at group level and prepare monthly MIS Reports for submission to CFO with analysis of financial & project performance
  19. Prepare the monthly cash flow, income statement, sales forecast, collection plan, overheads & construction cost control using trend analysis, scenario building & financial modelling
  20. Prepare Financial Model of lease vs. sell, build vs. hold, etc. for all the group projects & present recommendations to the CFO
  21. Monitor contractor's performance bonds & bank guarantees & report on actions to be taken.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance or equivalent experience
  2. CA, CMA or CFA certification obtained at least 3 years ago
  3. The candidate should have construction and or development experience for at least 5 years in the same field.
  4. 5 years' financial analysis and modeling experience
  5. Advanced knowledge of Excel
