UX / UI Designer

Role Overview:

The UX/UI Designer will ensure that the interface is user-friendly, aesthetically pleasing and improves user satisfaction. Work closely with other designers to come up with new UI concepts for in-vehicle experiences through displays, lighting, motion and sound integration.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Define the visual language and look and feel of the UI
• Design and development of the HMI for various vehicles
• Assess, analyse and improve current user experience
• Test and refine designs through prototyping including development of physical prototypes
• Create wireframes, interactive prototypes and mockups for the vehicles interfaces, mobile apps and web platforms
• Create production-ready graphics for software engineers for implementation and testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, industrial design, brand, mechanical- and electrical engineers
• Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback
• Lead the HMI design and development process with a user centred approach
• Stay updated on future trends in HMI and User experience design and technologies

Requirements for the role:

• 5 years of experience in designing HMI's
• Strong portfolio showcasing work across digital platforms and prototypes
• Expertise in the entire HMI design development process from concept to delivery
• In-depth knowledge of 2D and UI design relevant software
• Experience in creating and testing physical prototypes
• Understanding of user research and user-centred design principles
• Should be able to work in a multi-cultural environment;
• Ability to work under high pressure and tight deadlines; excellent time management;
• Should be able to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
