We have partnered with a fast-growing, Dubai-based alternative investment manager, looking to hire a Director of Sales & Investor Relations, in a newly created, expansionary role. The firm has grown significantly since its inception and is now looking to build out this function as part of their plans to significantly grow AUM over the coming years.
This key hire will join the firm in a senior capacity to establish and build out an asset raising and investor relations function, while playing a key role in managing existing relationships and driving inflows. There is significant scope for growth in this role, as the ultimate plan will be to build out a team.
At this stage in the firm’s growth, asset raising efforts will be mostly targeted towards family offices & HNW/UHNW individuals, and small-to-mid sized allocators more generally, covering the firm’s strategies across private markets, long-only equities & fixed income, as well as hedge fund strategies. The firm will also target larger institutional investors as assets grow.
Investment performance has been strong across the business, and one of the key selling points is having a diversified product suite to offer potential allocators, as well as a very high calibre investment team. They run a range of strategies, including long-only and long/short equities, fixed income and private markets.
The ideal candidate will have a background in asset raising or as a private banker/relationship manager, with an established network of HNW/UHNW/Family Office or institutional clients and a track record of raising assets. Additionally, our client is looking for an entrepreneurial drive to deliver results while aligning with the firm’s performance-driven, team-oriented culture, and having the vision and experience required to build out this function and a team over time.
