Mechanical Engineer

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years in a contracting company

Preferred Experience: HVAC/MEP

Location: Dubai

Availability: Immediate

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
2. Plan & Monitor manpower distribution daily to respective engineers according to the works/target need to complete the job.
3. Perform technical calculations and analyses to support design decisions.
4. Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
5. Participate in site visits and inspections to ensure project quality and adherence to specifications.
6. Preparation of Material Submittal, checking compliance statement, technical aspects of proposed items, documentation.
7. Conducting and recording benchmark/mockup inspection.
8. Coordinated with the project team and provide timely feedback about progress and delays.
9. Provide adequate support to the installation team at site, to estimate installation costs, assists in the procuring of orders for the company which maximizes sales and gross margin.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in a contracting company.
3. HVAC load calculation and strong understanding of HVAC/MEP systems is highly preferred.
4. Proficiency in engineering software and tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
5. Knowledge of local regulations and standards related to mechanical engineering.
6. Knowledge of Primavera P6 software.
