Job Overview

The Senior Physiotherapist and Team Leader will play a dual role, combining hands-on physiotherapy care with leadership responsibilities. The ideal candidate will lead a team of physiotherapists, ensuring high-quality care, compliance with health regulations, team growth, retention, and operational excellence. This role is crucial to maintaining our clinic's reputation and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Duties

  • Provide expert physiotherapy care to patients, ensuring optimal treatment outcomes.
  • Oversee complex cases and guide team members in developing treatment plans.
  • Stay updated with the latest techniques and research in physiotherapy to continuously improve service quality.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Act as a mentor and leader for the physiotherapy team, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.
  • Manage team schedules, workload distribution, and performance reviews.
  • Drive team retention by creating an engaging, supportive, and professional work environment.
  • Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.

Health Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure adherence to local health regulations, safety standards, and clinic policies.
  • Oversee documentation practices and ensure compliance with patient data confidentiality laws.
  • Conduct regular audits to maintain high-quality patient care standards.

Operational Management

  • Collaborate with the Clinic Director to develop and implement operational strategies.
  • Manage team KPIs and monitor overall performance metrics.
  • Lead team meetings and contribute to strategic decision-making for clinic growth.

Team Development

  • Identify training and development needs and coordinate professional development opportunities.
  • Organize regular workshops, training sessions, and performance enhancement activities.
  • Encourage team members to pursue certifications or specializations to advance their careers.

Recruitment & Talent Management

  • Partner with HR to identify staffing needs and recruit qualified physiotherapists.
  • Develop strategies for attracting top talent and building a high-performing team.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy.
  • Licensure: Valid physiotherapy license in [Insert Region/Country].
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
