Position Overview: The Electrician/Plumber will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing both electrical and plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties. This dual role requires a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Electrical Work:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, ensuring safety and compliance with local codes.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams for electrical installations.
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
Plumbing Work:
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues, such as leaks, clogs, and system failures.
Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams for plumbing installations.
General Responsibilities:
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with clients regarding project status and recommendations.
Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices for both electrical and plumbing work.
Qualifications:
Relevant certification or licenses in electrical and plumbing work.
Proven experience in both electrical and plumbing fields (residential and/or commercial).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
