The project:

Mace is providing project management services on a large mixed-use regeneration development in Abu Dhabi. The site will have commercial workplaces and retail units along with public realm.

• You will ensure quality systems are suitably managed in line with service excellence.
• You will deliver and manage project plans from project inception/brief through design development and planning, contractor procurement, and construction phase in accordance with the overall delivery program and agreed project milestones.
• You will manage tasks and associated deliverables in support of senior project managers and other leaders, alongside the wider project and client teams, to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of the project.
• Supervise daily activities of the business design management plan and its effectiveness in meeting business, statutory, legal, and contractual requirements on projects.
• Deliver elements of the annual business plan and outcomes to timeframes and budget.
• Develop working relationships with a range of internal stakeholders.
• Present design review data/key performance indicators (KPIs) to project and sub-function leadership.
• Work with team members providing operational delivery of team/regional strategy.
• Support business development and work-winning activities.
• Ensure management system is followed and adhered to, and completeness of project roles and responsibilities are met across project portfolios.
• Manage a small team of direct reports, coordinating work activities to achieve agreed objectives and providing performance management, development, and coaching.
• Assist and contribute in activities reported in management reviews, collating, analyzing, and presenting data and key metrics.
• Work collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You’ll need to have:

• Experience working in the United Arab Emirates is essential for client approval.
• Working knowledge of the construction and consultancy industries.
• Working knowledge of building safety legislation, building standards, construction contracts, professional appointments, and health & safety legislation.

You’ll also need:

• Abu Dhabi experience, landscape experience, Arabic speaker preferred.
• Good communication, organizational, and presentation skills with excellent writing ability.
• Strong BIM literacy and IT skills.
• Ability to work flexibly.
• Ability to use initiative and make appropriate decisions.
