Seeking a Manager responsible for overseeing the design and acquisition of electronic transport systems utilizing Intelligent Transport System (ITS) technologies. This role demands strategic management, implementation oversight, and continual enhancement of systems to ensure operational excellence and alignment with RTA's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• ITS Design and Implementation: Establish specifications for ITS components and oversee ITS planning projects.
• Project Management: Ensure projects are delivered within budget, on schedule, and conform to specifications. Manage staff engineers and technicians involved in field and design work.
• Policy and Procedure Development: Advise on and formulate the Intelligent Transport System policy & procedures.
• System Integration: Oversee the installation, testing, and implementation of Intelligent Transport Systems.
• Resource Mobilization: Utilize available human and other resources to create effective project teams.
• Information Security Compliance: Adhere to RTA's information security policies and ensure team compliance.

Key Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Telecommunications Engineering.

Experience:

• Minimum 11 years of working experience, with at least 7 years in a related field, preferably in ITS.

Skills:

• Expertise in Intelligent Transport Systems, project management, and system integration.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mobilize and coach teams.
• Proficient in planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively, ensuring clear and effective conveyance of information.
