Accurate preparation, documentation and distribution of payroll via bank transfer/WPS
Assist with payroll functions including data collection, processing, answering employee questions, fixing processing errors.
Calculating & verifying employee salaries, benefits & deductions in accordance with company policies, employment contracts & legal regulations
Ensuring timely and accurate data entry of payroll information, including employee details, timesheets, and attendance records, to maintain precise payroll records
Collaborating closely with HR & Finance Teams to exchange relevant payroll information & resolve payroll-related issues
Process all approved employee’s status changes (increment, promotion, demotion, probation, leave, transfer) in the system.
Ensure all payroll information & employee records are up-to-date in the system.
Ensure all payroll related payments are processed via WPS
End of service settlements for departing employees & leave settlement are prepared on time.
Prepare and distribute payroll reports to the Management
Maintain accurate records of employee data, transfer records, extra hours worked, leave, holidays, etc.
Building and maintaining positive relationships with payroll service providers
Handle bank verification for employees via email and phone calls.
Responding promptly to employee inquiries and concerns regarding their payroll discrepancies
Ensure that all necessary control procedures are applied prior to disbursement of payments.
Generating payroll reports, such as payroll summaries, UAE national pension reports, and employee cost analyses
Conducting regular audits & verifications of payroll data to identify & rectify any inaccuracies & discrepancies
Maintains accuracy & updates HR records and documentation.
Answers FAQs from employees about HR standard policies, benefits, etc.
Supporting the implementation and integration of new payroll systems or upgrades
Participating in process improvement initiatives
Provides support to the HR department.
Performs other duties as assigned by HoD.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Degree in HR / Finance / Accounting
At least 3-5 years of practical experience in payroll processing & administration.
Well versed in Advanced Excel, Macros, VBA or any other HRMS/ payroll software
Experience working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
Excellent attention to detail for accurate payroll management
Well-versed in UAE labor laws, regulations and compliance requirements
Maintains high integrity & confidentiality of HR department activities
Proficient in using payroll software & tools to process payroll efficiently, generate reports & manage records
Experience maintaining confidentiality & professionalism when handling sensitive data
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
