Your role and responsibilities
This is an Excitation Lead role for the United Arab Emirates reporting to the MEA Excitation Sales Manager. You will be primarily responsible for planning and ensuring implementation of the Excitation strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for systems, products, and services in a profitable way. You will lead the Sales organization of the Excitation Business in the allocated region proactively to exceed sales targets through high performance, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The role contributes to the Process Automation Business Area, located in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The work model for the role is onsite. You will mainly be accountable for:
Owning and managing the ABB EXC Install Base, assuring the database cleanup, alignment, and update.
Identifying the excitation White Spot and business potential, supporting the local units in listing the priority of the sites to be addressed, tracking, supporting, and assuring the local unit reaches the target KPI for the related initiative.
Increasing market penetration with the Generator IB analysis to attack competition, leveraging the existing ABB Automation IB as value add.
Driving improvement in sales through special initiatives, attending rollout meetings, and organizing internal meetings.
Being the point of reference for local units for any clarifications and support.
Monitoring the overall sales pipeline with periodic reports and identification of outside business in the HUB.
Participating proactively in periodic sales calls.
Supporting local units in the sales process, including technical solutions and market pricing.
Attending webinars to stay updated with new initiatives, rules, reporting methodology, and anything else needed to ensure successful business.
Driving day-to-day service safety and integrity and implementing Group initiatives to embed a culture of health, safety, and integrity across the organization.
Qualifications for the role
Bachelor's degree preferably in electrical, power electronics, or equivalent experience.
Requires 5+ years of experience in marketing & sales of solutions & services in power generation utilities.
Experience in sales in power generation or EXS projects.
Required previous experience in EXS business.
Excellent written and verbal presentation skills are required.
Fluency in English comprehension and writing.
Willingness to travel across the allocated region countries.
