Marine Insurance Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Marine Insurance Specialist to manage all the necessary procedures to provide Group Cargo Insurance coverage. The role involves ensuring high compliance standards, mitigating risks, and collaborating with insurer partners to enhance cargo safety. The successful candidate will support seamless freight operations by administering insurance coverage, handling documentation, and managing operations related to GAC Sure Cargo Insurance.

Job Requirements

1. Cargo Insurance Administration:
   1. Develop insurance quotes.
   2. Prepare and issue draft and final certificates of cargo insurance.
   3. Administer cargo insurance certification in brokers web portals.
   4. Manage accord forms and claims.
   5. Assist in documentation tasks.
   6. Handle invoice data entry and maintain payment records.
2. Insurance Reporting:
   1. Prepare monthly corporate insurance reports.
   2. Support continuous reporting development.
   3. Coordinate and distribute report tasks.
3. Support to Group Marketing & Commercial:
   1. Collaborate with Group Marketing & Commercial teams on aspects related to GAC Sure Cargo Insurance.
4. Data Security:
   1. Cross-check data to ensure accuracy.
   2. Support continuous reporting and data quality initiatives.
   3. Ensure the precision and reliability of data.

Additional Requirements:
Proficiency in MS Office, including advanced Excel, Word, Outlook, and Internet usage.
Effective communication skills at all levels; good command of spoken and written English.
Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
