Group CTO (web3)

We are working with a cutting-edge, significantly funded Web3 portfolio that is revolutionizing multiple industries through blockchain and decentralized technologies. This portfolio includes an innovative crypto casino, a forward-thinking gaming distribution platform, a market-leading token, and several other pioneering ventures shaping the future of Web3.

We are seeking an exceptional Group Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to oversee and drive the technological vision and execution across the entire portfolio. This is an extraordinary opportunity to lead a diverse suite of Web3 businesses and make a transformative impact in the blockchain and decentralized ecosystem.

You must either currently live in Dubai or be open to a full relocation to Dubai - this is a non-negotiable.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Define and implement a comprehensive technology strategy across all portfolio companies, ensuring alignment with overarching business goals.
• Innovation & Development: Spearhead the design and development of scalable, secure, and innovative Web3 solutions, with a focus on blockchain, gaming, DeFi, and crypto technologies.
• Tech Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead high-performing engineering teams across multiple verticals, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Blockchain & Crypto Expertise: Provide thought leadership on blockchain integration, tokenomics, smart contract development, and decentralized infrastructures to maintain competitive advantage.
• Operational Oversight: Establish best practices for software development, infrastructure, security, and data management across the portfolio.
• Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal stakeholders, investors, and external partners to identify opportunities and overcome challenges in the rapidly evolving Web3 space.
• Scalability & Growth: Develop strategies to ensure the scalability and reliability of platforms and infrastructure as the portfolio continues its rapid growth trajectory.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Proven Leadership: 10+ years of technology leadership experience, including a track record of driving innovation at a senior level (preferably as CTO, VP of Engineering, or similar).
• Web3 Expertise: Deep understanding of blockchain technologies, decentralized finance (DeFi), tokenomics, and smart contract development.
• Technical Mastery: Strong background in software engineering, infrastructure architecture, and emerging technologies, with hands-on expertise in blockchain frameworks and programming languages such as Solidity, Rust, or Go.
• Strategic Vision: A forward-thinking mindset with the ability to anticipate trends and position the portfolio as an industry leader in Web3 innovation.
• Global Experience: Ability to work with diverse, distributed teams and a solid understanding of global markets and regulatory landscapes in the Web3 space.
• Execution-Focused: Skilled in translating ambitious visions into tangible, scalable solutions within fast-paced environments.
