Supply Chain Planning Executive

What you will do:

• Responsible for all activities related to the inbound process of import of Cars and will be the key contact point both internally – Logistics, customs, Finance and externally – Factory and Principal.
• Should be well versed in SAP, excel in communication, have an eye for detail, and be good with numbers.
• Verifies invoice prices against the agreed pricing as specified in the order.
• Creates color-wise variants in SAP.
• Creates Purchase orders with the right article, variant, price, customs duty, freight, bank charges, L/C charges, etc based on the approved order.
• Based on the sailing schedule, necessary checks are done on the arrival of the model and reflected in the executive reports.
• Prepares and uploads the VIN-wise data by inputting model code, model description, chassis number, engine number, interior/exterior color, production month, etc., and then uploads it into the SAP system.
• Creates Shipping notifications on SAP to start clearance from the port.
• Completes the CCM process with the Logistics team and carries out the GRN process and then IV and Set BOE done by operations.
• Verifies AF logistic bills as per the clearance done for the finance department to make the payment.
• Prepares all documentation required for clearance of vehicle consignments from the Port.
• Liaises directly with the AFL Logistic Team on all matters relating to the clearance of vehicles.
• Prepares duty statements with supporting documents for the Finance Department to ensure timely payment of amounts due, thereby avoiding monthly penalties.
• Final settlement posts in SAP for each bill of entry to process customs duty payment.
• Acts as the internal contact person for Finance and Logistics.
• Acts as the external contact person for all communications with Principal/factory.
• Provides GIT (Goods in Transit) information to Finance.
• Creates material/models in SAP before the arrival of new models.
• Flips materials if adding accessories to sell as higher option vehicles.
• Updates the RSP and discount conditions for each model in SAP for the sales team.
• Requests advance payments from the principal.
• Requests customs duty payments.
• Handles orders and any approvals required from management.
• Prepares internal reports regarding sales, arrivals, and stocks for management.
• Creates stock and arrival reports.
• Provides arrival details to the BIW team and creates reports for management.
• Updates internal order sheets and submits for management approval.
• Provides data support with logistics to control the inbounds and clearing documents on time (and related requirements).
• Updates the daily sheet with sales/stock/arrival and orders.
• Updates the orders based on business requirements.
• Maintains sales and order plans based on agreements with the Principal.
• Updates and maintains the Planning Sheet with orders, arrivals, sales, and stock details.

About the team:

• The role reports to the Head of Operations and will interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  

What equips you for the role:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
• 3 years of automotive work experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint/ MS Projects/ SAP) and Power BI.
• Extensive knowledge of inventory management systems and supply chain modules in other ERP systems.
• Customer management.
