We are currently looking for an HR Director for a client in the events industry based in Dubai.
The HR Director is responsible for establishing HR as a strategic partner to the leadership team, contributing to the organization's growth and development by managing all aspects of people management and development.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute HR strategies to support business goals
Lead and mentor a high-performing HR team
Implement best HR practices across the organization
Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
Collaborate with senior leadership to shape our company culture
Continually evaluate human resources strategies and plans to position the company as an employer of choice and compete successfully in its respective local and regional labor markets.
Drive the people strategy, advising and building effective talent pipelines.
Support the UAE Government policy to integrate an increasing number of UAE Nationals into our employed cadre. Create and design initiatives to attract and retain an increasing number of UAE Nationals to our ranks.
Maintain knowledge of trends and best practices, including that of the MF Group, regulatory changes (i.e., MOHRE, GDRFA, GPSSA), and new technologies in human resources (i.e., SAP Success Factors, talent management, and employment Federal law); apply this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to the Managing Director and Executive team.
Key Characteristics:
15+ years of professional experience
UAE and international experience preferred
Expertise in HR strategy, policies, operations, recruitment, and team management
Strong strategic thinking and knowledge of labor laws and compliance
