Logistics Coordinator- Pricing and Booking - Pacer Management Consultancy

Job Position: Logistics Coordinator Freight Pricing & Booking

Location: Dubai

Preferably candidates who are very sharp on price negotiation and customer relationship who can join our team immediately after selection.

Responsibilities:

1. Enquire and avail best rate for the destinations for DG and Non DG rates for ISO tanks / Flexi Tanks / Containers.
2. Analyze quotes for the cheapest option with loading quantity (20 FT and 40 FT).
3. Obtain approval from the management for freight and place bookings.
4. Ensure compliance with Transit time / Sailing Dates / Cut Off Dates / Special Conditions if any.
5. Issue the booking DG Approval DGPC Docs.
6. Share the MSDS and DG declaration with the shipping line for obtaining container release order and follow up.
7. Upon receiving the container release order, cross-check all the details (POL/POD/Commodity name/ETD).
8. Update customers on shipping line name, vessel schedule, ETD, and vessel name.
9. Share the release by mail and WhatsApp on SI cut off / free days / Gate Inn cut off.
10. Update the dispatch and transport team if the container is not pulled out on time.
11. Once the container is pulled out, submit SI/LL/DGPC to the shipping line and submit to the clearing agent to pass export declaration.
12. Follow up with dispatch and transport department for final loading details for amending the BL draft.

Experience:

• Pricing and Booking of DG containers with liners and NVOCC: 6 years (Required)
• Logistics Coordinator: 8 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Supply Chain and Logistics Management (Required)
